xn+1 = rxn(1 − xn) This is the world’s condition current. This equation is famously known as the chaos equation. The world especially our country has gone into chaos for the past 2 years. The situations this year have become worse as every one of you is aware by now. I do not even want to flash any statistics and don’t want to debate any accuracy of those. All I know is that many of my close ones and your close ones are not with us anymore and .The loss is the toll we are paying. Indeed, we express our deep condolences to all the people who are no more with us and pray to God for their families. It’s hard and it’s difficult but the good point is that it is a Time. And time always passes us by. The Covid is still a recondite disease that can quickly debilitate an otherwise healthy person, but it varies from person to person. I’m not an expert to bombard my views but having closely experienced this thing twice on myself has made me observed the patterns around it not scientifically or medically but moreover psychologically. It reminds me of the story which you might have heard during your childhood days:

There was a village and a saint who was the caretaker of that village. The saint always used to sit at the entry point of the village and protected it from all kinds of adversities. Once there were 3 people send by God to take the lives of people from that village. The saint was terribly upset but since it was the order of God saint had to let them enter in the village to take people’s lives which were their destiny. The worried saint wanted to know how many of his beloved people from the village were about to leave this world. So, at the entry point, he inquired about the number they were going to take. The FIRST one said 10 the SECOND said 15 and THIRD came for no one he was just accompanying the other two. On the return of the three, the saint observed the FIRST one had 10 people queues behind him the SECOND one had 15 people behind him and the THIRD one surprisingly had a long queue of more than 50 behind him. He was shocked and felt deceived and quickly ran to the THIRD and bashed him saying: “You said that you won’t take anyone with you then why so many people are behind you?” He replied calmly: “I never called upon anyone they’re coming by their choice”. The sad and curious saint wanted to know the three men: The FIRST one told him he was OLD AGE the SECOND one was SICKNESS the THIRD introduced himself as FEAR.

The fear of death is death itself.

Fear is what makes us weaker. Here are some observation and steps that I felt one should follow to survive this war of pandemic:

1. Getting Tested: Slightest of symptoms can be infection, early detection can help sort a lot of upcoming issues. Don’t rely upon only one type of testing there are other methods of diagnosis as well, consult the physician for say instead of your city is lacking RT PCR test go for CRP|D-Dimer values(Blood test). Many online/teleconsultation is also available.

2. Early medications: Since Covid is still a recondite matter some of the least side effect general meds one can intake without even waiting to get tested by the consultation of doctors genral medicines are Azihtromycin|Ivermectin|Vitamins&Zinc|Doxy or Medro|Fabiflu. Don’t take regular meds which one usually takes for regular flu. For information and advice visit www.who.int/covid

3. Rely on Desi Remedies: Most of us are having a cherishing time with family at their homes which unfortunately I don’t have but still wherever you are keep inculcating the desi remedies at home regardless of you are affected or not which includes taking steam, having turmeric with milk or lukewarm water, having kaadhas, inhalers etc.

4. Getting ample Nutrition: This is one of the major factors for recovery as well as sustenance. Even if you have never taken a balanced diet this is the perfect time to change or better your lifestyle. Inculcate more proteing and vitamins in your diet.

5. Keeping Track of Resources: Via various social media platforms and local help do keep a track of all the necessary items required for any emergency as well. Also, do help people if you come across any verified resource. Please try to personally verify before forwarding the information that will create less chaos.

6. Connecting with People: Talking to people checking on them regardless of close or not close, friends or enemy, ex or next, elder or younger, in the neighborhood or across borders, just talk to see if they are okay if they need anything are they mentally well, this will not only make them feel better but you will feel good because you never know it might be your last call for them or their last call for you, things are messy right!

7. Saving the world: Yes you can, to those who can afford monetary donations to verified organizations involved in saving the world can do that but most crucially whether you have money or not, even if you are not a doc/medical professional, the soldier you still can save the world by wearing masks, by not going outside and following guidelines by the WHO.

How have I survived?

Survival and death are the matter of God. As mere mortal humans what we can do use the minds and take precautions. I have seen much through this time which is not even 0.1% of what many are going through. From losing very dear ones to hearing the sad news, from looking at the conditions of the hospital at their gates to the condition of the cemetery. I’ve been affected by this old friend-like enemy known as covid twice, but this time it is hitting us hard, I’ve felt how the 21% concentration of the atmosphere is still not enough for survival.

To be honest, I did not even follow the above steps diligently and it’s hard to follow when you are alone, being alone makes you understand the value of family and friends but also it conditions your mind. The most important factor that I personally have felt is the mindset. How are you going to take anything that is thrown on you and in my experience which has kept me alive till yet is:

To See things as it is because.

It is What it Is!

Please Stay Safe Take extra care and follow all the necessary Guidelines.

I don’t want to lose anyone now.
